British Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton returned home from Pakistan today (Friday) after completing their five-day historic visit.
According to foreign news agencies, the royal couple said goodbye to British High Commissioner Thomas Drew and other officials at Noor Khan Airbase.
Earlier, the British royal couple landed safely at Noor Khan Airbase, while two hours earlier the plane tried to land at Islamabad airport, but plane was diverted to Lahore airport due to bad weather conditions.
Before ending their tour British royal couple also visited the army canine center in Rawalpindi on their return from Lahore.
The Duke and Duchess were briefed that the Pakistan army canine center has been established in the style of British army animal center. The dogs and other animals are trained here for defense purpose and Internationale level training is given to them in the canine center.
The Duke and the Duchess saw the dogs that are trained to sniff out explosives in the Pakistan Army canine center.
The duke and duchess were expected to visit Peshawar and different historical places in Peshawar but the visit was cancelled due to the weather conditions.
Before leaving Pakistan their visit to the canine center was their last activity done on their 5 days historic tour.
