The British royal couple arrived at Noor Khan Airbase, where Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Federal Ministers, Foreign Office and British High Commission officials welcomed them with a warm red-carpet reception.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were presented bouquets by Shah Mahmood Qureshi. On the eve of the arrival of the British royal couple, preparations for their reception have been completed.
Along with the royal couple, their guards, medical experts, and more than forty journalists have also arrived in Pakistan. Special security arrangements have been made for the five-day visit.
Sources said that during the visit to Pakistan, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton will also visit a school on October 15 and the royal guests will also attend a welfare program on the same day.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit Lahore on October 16 where they will also visit Lahore’s historic Badshahi Masjid and visit an SOS Village.
The British royal guests will leave for Chitral on October 17, whereas they will return home on October 18 at 1:30 pm after spending a day there in Chitral.
