A Pakistani soldier Naimat Wali was martyred and two civilians got injured after the Indian forces resorted to “unprovoked” firing from across the Line of Control in Baroh and Chirikot sectors, reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
Six civilians including four women were wounded in the firing by the Indian side of the border .
“Pakistan Army troops targeted Indian Army posts in response. Post of Indian forces has been substantially damaged. There are the reports of casualties from Indian side of border too .
On Tuesday, Pakistan called on Indian Deputy High Commissioner to protest the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian forces along LoC after one civilian was killed and three others injured.
Pakistan said the conscious targeting of civilian populated areas was horrible and conflicting to human signity, international human rights, and humanitarian laws.
