The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has made a big recovery worth billions in the fake account case today. As per the available details, the National Accountability Bureau has recovered 11 billion 16 crore rupees from seven accused in one of the biggest corruption scandals of recent times.
As per a source of the NAB, the accountability body took back the control of the land of Karachi steel mill worth ten billion and sixty-six crore rupees. The recovered land has been given back to the Karachi steel mill and the recovery was made as part of plea bargain. The details of the recent recovery by NAB has been submitted at the accountability court.
The accused who agreed on giving back the control of the land includes Hammad Shahid (34 acres of land recovered from him), Abdul Ghani(37 acres of land recovered from him) Tariq Baig(33 acres of land recovered from him) Muhammad Iqbal (32 acresof land rrecovered from him), Amir (40 acres recovered from him) and one more accused has given back 50 acres of land of Karachi steel mill.
