Prime Minister Imran Khan’s front man Jehangir Khan Tareen has been assigned with a big task of negotiating with Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman. Jahangir Khan Tareen will be trying to convince the JUI-F chief to call off his scheduled protest in Islamabad later this month.
According to sources, Jahangir Tareen is in favor of solving the issue through dialogues instead of using force. He has met Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in this regard and the two leaders have agreed upon using back door diplomacy.
Meanwhile, opposition’s Rahbar Committee has also decided not to give any further time to the Imran Khan led federal government. Leader of JUI-F and former CM Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Akram Khan durrani lashed out at PTI government for their economic policies. Former CM KPK demanded resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and also new date for general election polls.
Akram Khan Durrani also vowed to keep Azadi march peaceful.
