According to a report in Pakistani media, NAB chairman Justice (retd.) Javed Iqbal gave this information on Tuesday. In a board meeting, he said: “As per the work details of previous 22 months it was found that the NAB has seized Rs7,100 crore and deposited this amount to the government treasury.
The National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan has said that a total of Rs7,100 crore was seized from corrupt elements and has been deposited in the government treasury.
He said the bureau aims to set everyone’s accountability and this can only be achieved by forming an anti-corruption policy at the national level and uproot white collar crimes from the government machinery.
