Pakistan authorities handed over the body of an BSF Indian Soldier who was recently drowned in Jammu and Kashmir River, According to ISPR press released on Tuesday.
According to Army’s media cell, Indian BSF soldier Sub-Inspector Paritosh Mondal had drowned while crossing ‘Aik Nullah’ along the Working Boundary, inside Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The body of the deceased soldier swept towards the Pakistani side, said the ISPR. ISPR also claimed that Indian authorities also requested to find their soldier then Punjab Ranger started its operation and the body was found on Tuesday.
Pakistan Rangers Punjab undertook a search operation, recovered the body and handed over to the Indian BSF today as per the military procedure, added the ISPR.
