Prime Minister Imran Khan has released a picture of a meeting to initiate a joint English channel with Malaysia and Turkey against ‘Islamophobia’.
According to a photo shared on Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan met with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad.
Releasing the photo, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote that our meeting in which we have decided to launch an English channel.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “We will soon launch an English channel on the British-based BBC “.
Earlier on 25th September, PM tweeted: ”President Erdogan, PM Mahatir and myself had a meeting today in which we decided our 3 countries would jointly start an English language channel dedicated to confronting the challenges posed by Islamophobia and setting the record straight on our great religion – Islam.”
Talking about the purpose and agenda of that channel, PM Imran Khan further tweeted, ”Misperceptions which bring people together against Muslims would be corrected; issue of blasphemy would be properly contextualized; series & films would be produced on Muslim history to educate/inform our people & the world; Muslims would be given a dedicated media presence.”
