Legendary West Indian Michael Holding is in Karachi to attend an event organized by IG in his honor.
Michael Anthony Holding, who scored 249 in 102 Tests for the West Indies from 1975 to 1987, and 142 wickets in 102 ODIs, has arrived in Karachi these days, at a time when Sri Lankan cricket team is visiting Pakistan to play 3 ODIs and three Twenty20 matches.
Former Test fast bowler and cricket commentator Michael Holding has arrived in the city of lights with Barry, the West Indies reporter.
Dr. Kashif Ansari has been instrumental in bringing the former West Indian fast bowler to Karachi , who is a renowned cricket observer and global adviser to the PSL franchise, Peshawar Zalmi. In Karachi, the host of Michael Holding is Inspector General of Police Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam.
Michael holding also met ex Pakistani Spinner Sikhandar Bakht at his house. Both of them discussed their experience of cricket and matches.Speaking on Michael Holding’s visit to Karachi, Dr Kashif Ansari said that the main purpose of the visit is to allow the former West Indian Test cricketer to roam freely, shop and send a message to the world that Karachi is a safe city.
There is no danger to the cricketers, so that in the future not only cricket teams come to our beloved Pakistan but they will roam and enjoy the open environment.
