In Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and his cousin Yousuf Abbas have been ordered to be sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
According to sources, the court rejected the request by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) authorities on October 9, rejecting the request for extension of the physical remand of the two accused.
The accused were presented before the Accountability Court Administrator Judge Chaudhry Amir Mohammad Khan at the end of the 7-day physical remand.
Special Prosecutors Hafiz Asadullah Awan and Harris Qureshi appeared before NAB while Amjad Pervez Advocate appeared in the court on behalf of the accused Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas.
