The government of Pakistan has decided to mark September 27 as the black day to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, the media reports. The national flag of Pakistan will be flown at half-mast across the country while rallies will also be organized throughout the country.
The theme on Black day will be “Let’s Save the Innocent Children of Kashmir”. The occupied Valley has been under the state of curfew after India abrogated the special status given to Kashmir under Article 370. Article 370 granted special status to Kashmir.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to take up the issue of Kashmir during his address to the United Nations General Assembly. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan yesterday also raised the issue of Kashmir during his speech at the UNGA. Tayyip Erdogan called for the international community to play its role in resolving the conflict.
