The students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has created a wheel that can be operated through human voice. The wheel chair can move to and fro through human voice.
Former Finance Minister Mr Asad Umar also shared video of the wheel chair and appreciated the brilliant being done by the Engineers. “Innovative work like this voice activated wheel chair by AYECo. This is just the kind of work that needs to be projected,” Asad Umar wrote.

The unique wheel chair has been named as Gobi and it can be operated within a distance of 100 meters. It also has long-term battery timing having the capacity to cover a distance of 25 Kilometers.
The creator of the project – Faiz- during an interview stated that it took him more than a year to complete it. Faiz also said that it is not just Pakistan’s but the world’s first voice controlled wheel chair.
He went on to add that he stated working on the wheel chair as part of a University project but considering the number of people who needs such wheel chairs he changed his project into an AYEco named company.
