Rana Sanaullah Khan appeared before anti-narcotics court today in strict security arrangements for hearing bail plea in narcotics smuggling case. His Bail request was rejected by the court after hearing arguments of both sides.
Khalid Bashir, a Duty Judge of the Special Drug Court, heard bail plea of five accomplices, including Rana Sanaullah, in the drug smuggling case.
Rana Sanaullah’s lawyers argued that the allegation was leveled at a man who had been a member of the Assembly several times and also a minister, an FIR was filed three hours after the incident, delaying the case by three hours weakens the case.

Rana Sanaullah advocated by Farhad Ali Shah Advocate, arguing that his client was traveling to Lahore with his staff, had a vehicle protocol and one was Rana Sanaullah’s car.
The ANF lawyer said that the guards of Rana Sanaullah said at the time of the arrest that you do not know who you are handing over. The public prosecutor argued in his argument that one could account for a second, on the spot the accused identified the envelope of heroin and the plastic envelope contained heroin.
The lawyer added that we handled the matter with professionalism, so not a single bullet was fired, there is solid evidence against the accused so the court should reject the bail.
Meanwhile, the anti-narcotics court approved the bail of five co-accused, namely Usman, Anwar, Umar Farooq, Rustum Ali and Sibtain.
