Pakistan would organize massive protests in New York on the occasion of meeting of UN General Assembly to give the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘global backlash’ over his government’s decision to abrogate Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. For this purpose, a plan has been set up by the Pakistani and Kashmiri Community of Houston, USA. More than ten thousand people will be there to attend the protest.
According to the media reports, more than 10,000 representatives of Pakistani and Kashmiri Community will demonstrate against Modi on 22nd September and 27th September in Houston and New York respectively.
PM Imran Khan has issued directives to the PTI’s foreign chapters to prepare for the protests in New York. The instructions were given during a meeting and after that, Special Assistant of PM for overseas Pakistanis, Zulifqar Bukhari reached the USA to make
all the necessary arrangments.
Modi will address the Indian community on 22nd September and then UNGA on 27th September, the same day when PM Imran Khan will address the General Assembly. Modi is expected to visit the US in September for the upcoming UN General Assembly meeting.
