PM Imran Khan will formally inaugurate the nonstop opening of the border crossing at Torkham among Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The representative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Ajmal Wazir Khan, disclosed to media that the PM will initiate the Torkham crossing today (Saturday).
He said the opening of the Pak-Afghan border will advance respective exchange and monetary exercises between the nations.
The border has been opened on preliminary reason for twenty-four hours since second of this current month.
According to sources, from the two sides of the border, the nations have expanded the quantity of counters to more than 20 and furthermore conveyed extra authorities to easily proceed with the exchange exercises for 24 hours.
Recently, hailing the outskirt opening, Chinese envoy to Pakistan Yao Jing said Beijing was prepared to assemble a cool stockpiling and give different offices in Torkham zone to support exchange and trade in the area.
“The working of the Torkham outskirt intersection is exceptionally significant for extension of exchange future,” the Chinese envoy expressed during a two-day global gathering on ‘Belt and Road Initiative, Pakistan and China Economic Corridor and Trans-Regional Integration’.
Prior on July 31, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had visited Torkham, the Pak-Afghan fringe crossing, to survey courses of action with the goal that the outskirt could stay open nonstop.
