The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Lahore pulled back their notice with respect to gender segregation in the cafeteria.
Prior on September 6, the college had issued a notice which requested for isolated sitting plans for male and female understudies.
The move caused shock on social media and many reacted to this notification and ridiculed it.
Nonetheless, another announcement has been issued by UET which uncovers that the notice has been pulled back.
As per the new notice, the past letter was “issued without the endorsement of the Vice Chancellor.”
We truly wish colleges would concentrate on real issues that students are experiencing and approaches to help better the way toward getting education. Here’s an idea.
