SRINAGAR: In held Kashmir, several people were harmed after Indian troops tried to use force on the individuals who opposed curfew and other confinements and took part in Muharram processions in various territories of the occupied Jammu Kashmir.
Kashmir Media Service reported that around 12 individuals were harmed as the troops utilized pellet firearms and shot teargas shells to stop the customary Muharram procession in Srinagar and Badgam areas.
Scores of grievers were captured by the Indian armed forces. There have been continuous conflicts for the past numerous days as troops have been attempting to obstruct the processions.
Police vans fitted with amplifiers watched and cautioned individuals to remain inside and not wander out of their homes. Business center of Lal Chowk and nearby regions of Srinagar are totally closed with concertina wires at all entry points.
