Three days back, Ahmed Mukhtar Advocate had brutally slapped Constable Faiza Nawaz in the Ferozewala Courts when she let him know not to leave his vehicle at one of its checkpoints. She had mentioned him to remove his vehicle, revealing to him that it would turn into a bother to other people yet in annoyance, Mukhtar verbally mishandled Constable Faiza, kicked and slapped her.Later the lawyer was arrested and the constable herself carried the cuffed advocate to the court, as she was holding the keys.
Now the lawyer involved in slapping and misbehaving with a woman constable in Ferozewala got released on Saturday because of a minor slip-up in the First Information Report (FIR).
The local court’s judge was hearing the case, in which Ahmed Mukhtar Advocate was blamed for savagely slapping Constable Faiza Nawaz, when she let him know not to leave his vehicle at one of its checkpoints. In the meeting today, the suspect was discharged as his name was erroneously referenced as Ahmed Iftikhar in the FIR rather than Ahmed Mukhtar. Following the advancement, female constable Faiza Nawaz requested the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa to make an action over the occurrence. “Is this the degree of regard for ladies that anybody can slap her?”, the female cop said in a passionate tone.
In the interim, the incident raised drew extreme analysis. Social worker Farzana Bari said the female constable wasn’t slapped yet it was struck against the whole working ladies’ class of the nation. She declared holding a protest against the evil occurrence. In an unforeseen development, the lawyer fraternity in Sheikhupura boycotted bars and legal proceedings in favor of fellow lawyer on Saturday.
The Adviser to PM on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan communicated distress over the disgraceful incident, saying a fellow police officer of the female constable intentionally committed an error to help give relief to another man, the lawyer. “The malignant growth in Punjab police can’t be treated with a disprin, it needs a major activity,” said the Adviser to PM. She asked the Inspector General from Punjab police to pursue the ‘odd one out’ among his power.
