MUBASHER LUCMAN TO BECOME PART OF CHANNEL 24

Islamabad: Renowned anchor Mubasher Lucman has quit BOL. He will now be anchoring at channel 24 and very soon a public announcement will be made regarding his decision.

According to sources, Lucman decided to join BOL when it was neck deep in a scandal of fake degrees. Many senior anchors quit BOL at this time when they saw that the channel has become a sinking ship. These anchors include Kamran Khan, Azhar Abaas, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asma and Wajahat. Lucman did the opposite and took captaincy of the ship at the time of need.

While talking to Baaghi.tv he says he did this for one reason despite knowing the misty future; to stand on principle. Sources tell that for four months Lucman and team have not even be given salaries. What was originally the ‘Khara Such’ team resigned with Lucman and will be joining channel 24 with him.

When Lucman joined BOL he started hosting ‘Meri Jang’ but has been seen to be away from that too for some time. He has been dedicating time to charitable causes during this time including a project ‘Sing a Song, Save a Life’ for children cancer patients of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital. Before this Lucman has been part of Express, Nawa-e-Waqt and ARY as well.
