‘Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon greatness upon ’em’, says Willium Shakespeare in ‘Twelfth Night’
One of my English literature professors at International Islamic University Islamabad used to say ‘some are thrust upon greatness’ truly fits for Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef. Mian Nawaz Shareef does not deserve the post of premier ministry of Pakistan he is occupying.
The history of Pakistan politics offers several Nawaz Shareef like faces: Zardari, Yousaf Raza Gilani—to name just a few..Nawaz Shareef is not alone on this platform of unfitting state of the body and soul. When the soul is diseased, the body will go astray. When leaders get corrupt, morally sick, terrorists, then the nation will be haunted by such agonising state as we Pakistani people are now going through. We as a nation
are currently suffering from uncertainty, confusion and restlessness. This is because of our leaders that we are dying of thirst, hunger and poverty. They have given us pain; they have shed our blood. They are no less than Yazid in their cruelties towards us.
