First we need to educate the public, than we need to alleviate the poverty. Only than change might appear. But I pray May God bless this great islamic scholar of this century. I gone through his quranic translation "Irfan ul Quran" it was a splendid effort on his part. I wish him not to be in dirty politics of this country dominated by characterless personalities. But at the same time I strongly believe that he must have a better knowledge and better justification to be a part of this corrupt politics. Many others and I have some reservations on Dr.Tahir Ul Qadri. Therefore, his services to Humanity and Islam can never be denied.He has written more than 600 books(few days ago he said in his interview).

But no details have been provided about this PhD degree on his Website as to where, when and how he got this degree. Arif bro you said you rather learn lesson by observing what Dr Qadri does, according to my info he has paid his contribution in Pakistan by standing Minhaj ul Qauran structure in Pakistan and in all over world, his educational system in Pakistan is phenomenon and his organisation does good charity work as well. I think Dr Qadri's history shows he is a good administrator and good leader. As islamic studies student i have never seen any pakistani or indian scholar being appreciated by arab scholars like Dr Qadri has been, which suggests he is not typical molvi but knows what he is talking about so Arab scholars are even appreciate him, i was initially impressed by Dr Qadri's religious contribution but now looking at what he is doing for Pakistan is just mind blowing. He has already alot of fame and popularity why would he do this for popularity. i think Dr Qadri is genuine, educated and wise person.

His Website boasts that Taher Ul Qadri has written 1000 books in Arabic, Urdu and English. This figure looks a huge exaggeration because around 160 books are listed on his website. Even for the listed 160 books, we fail to understand, how come he has written these books in Arabic when he is unable to express himself in Arabic and has so poor vocabulary. Then the question arises, who wrote all these books, particularly Arabic books? May be he has hired some people in his Minhaj office in Lahore or elsewhere who write books in Arabic and other languages which are published in his name.His Website says that he earned MA in Islamic studies from the University of Punjab in 1972 and completed LLB in 1974. Then he began working as Lawyer in the district of Jhang, till 1978. This shows that he was in Jhang district all these years, from his birth till 1978 (till the age of 27 years). In 1978, he got a job as Lecturer at Punjab University, Lahore which made him to move to Lahore. His website claims that he "gained" PhD in Islamic Law". But no details have been provided about this PhD degree on his Website as to where, when and how he got this degree. However, there are unconfirmed reports on Internet about his PhD degree, which state as follows: QUOTE - Taher Ul Qadri is among three four person who have fake PhD degrees as described by courts in (Pakistan) – others are Liaqat of MQM, Babar Awan of PPP and Ghazanfar Mahdi of Ministry of Information, to whom Hakim Ali Zardari helped in award of PhD degree from Jamshoro while his fraud research was in Saraiki language.

NAB launches $32 million money laundering scandal inquiry against Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday said it has started investigations against the Sahrif brothers in a $32 million money laundering scandal.

In 2005, Daily Pakistan reported that Sharif family is the fourth wealthiest family in Pakistan with an estimated net worth of US$ 1.4 billion. The Sharif family is intensively playing their role in the industrial growth of the country and expanding the steel business empire by employing state-of-the-art technology in their steel business in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Middle east.
