I am quite surprised; all of the demands are constitutional and in favor of the welfare of the common people, then why these political parties and national assembly have not approved them with unanimous consensus. Why did they not implement the Supreme court's ruling of 8th June, 2012. Why Dr. Qadri had to work so hard for this and still the politicians especially PLMN still not willing. Why? Does anyone has an answer, please try to explain this.
Congrats Dr. Qadri. You have won morally. All of his demands to reform electoral process are absolutely correct, jaiz, perfectly valid. But the so-called opposition party (PMLN ruling 65% Pakistan) and ruling party are not willing to implement these reforms because their agenda is NOT the welfare of people and country. Their agenda is lotto and photto in the power game.

When you have a corrupted electorial system it allows the following:
-Rigging the elections is childsplay
-People with criminal records can run for gov.
-People who have no education can run for gov.
-People who have raped the country in the past can run for gov (i.e. Zardari and Nawaz Sharif)
-So the question follows: How the hell do you expect to change anything when you say that you will run for gov? Can you even be certain that those who vote for you will get their votes accepted?
This is why Dr Tahir ul Qadri wanted to change something that no one has emphasized on before and he succeeded in that. Now what remains is this law has to be implemented which many people can easily speculate , will be ignored, because if it is to be followed then 70% of the current gov would become disqualified from ever entering politics again.
Let's see what happens in the coming weeks.
