I and my brother study in Bahria University Islamabad and live in the hostel. Our family is in Lahore. My brother got an accident at noon today near hostel. I took my brother to hospital. Then I tried to contact my family to ask money for the treatment. But Alas! At that time, mobile services were blocked in Islamabad, as a routine matter in our country. I am not the regular user of landline so I took two hours to think for calling on the landline phone of our Lahore home neighbors, from the hospital landline phone, to contact my father. Thanks a million to the landline service. We must have landline phone connections in our homes atleast to avoid such emergencies with our families.
