I suggest before concluding anything and before commenting on these sensitive matters that can ruin our imaan, we should read what is the status of 'mubasharaat' (good dreams) in Islam and read all the big Imams on which our deen is based on how they used to quote dreams in their books. I wish people read about good dreams in Hadith. If someone lies about mubasharaat, let Allah deal with that person. But if person is saying the truth and we started doubting, we can lose our imaan. Deen tell us to rely on words, we don't have powers to know the niyat of someone, that is why bud-gumani is a big sin.
Even if we could not digest such things, staying quite is far better than commenting.
Here are few Ahadiths:
Allah’s Apostle said, “A good Dream (that comes true) of a righteous man is one of forty-six parts of prophetism.” (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 87, No. 112)
I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat.” They asked, “What are Al-Mubashshirat?” He replied, “The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings).” (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 87, No. 119)
Ahadith show that Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) used to describe his dreams, or in other words, narrating one’s dreams is the Sunnah of the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم).
Allah’s Apostle very often used to ask his companions, “Did anyone of you see a Dream?” So dreams would be narrated to him by those whom Allah wished to tell. (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 87, No. 171)
Above Hadith (alongwith other similar ones) show that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم) used to encourage Sahaba to narrate their dreams.
Now we are living in the time of Fitn. We have neither read Hadith books nor aware of history. Ofcourse most of us not capable of blessed with good dreams. Hence it is very difficult for us to understand this thing.

Brother Sajid. I totally agree with you. These things are not be discussed in public. That's what exactly Dr. Sahib did. Just to give you an idea, he has more than 5,000 recorded lectures and about 400 published books on various topics and he has never discussed any dreams in any of them. About 20 years ago he shared some of his mubasharaat with very close people. That speech was not available for public at all. But unfortunately somehow it got in the hands of his opponents and they dishonestly shared few clips (not the full talk) under a wrong context and spread massively. Same clips are being shared even now on YouTube and other media. May Allah give hidayat to such people who did that act just to defame an honest person.
Meanwhile regarding controversies, just being contraversail does not mean peson is wrong. Read the history brother, Allama Iqbal was made one of the most controversial person by his opponents of his time. And many other great names in history were made controversial by their opponents. We should look at the facts.

میں حلفیہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں بلند مرتبت ملکہء کینیڈا اور ان کے وارثوں کا کا وفادار رھوں گا اور ان کا سچا تابعدار رھوں گا ، اور میں اس کا بھی حلف اٹھاتا ھوں کہ میں کینیڈا کے قوانین کی وفاداری سے اتباع کروں گا اور کینیڈا کے شہری کی حیثیت سے میں اپنی ذمہ داریاں پوری کروں گا
یہ حلف، کینیڈا کی عدالت کے جج کے روبرو پیش ھو کر، ھاتھ اٹھا کر بلند آواز میں پڑھنا ھوتا ھے، اس سے پہلے جج اپنے خطاب میں کینیڈا کے شہری کی زماداریا بیان کرتا ھے۔ اس کے علاوہ مسلم خاتون کو اپنا چہرہ لازمی کھول کر دکھانا ھوتا ھے، امید ھے کہ قادری صاحب کی زوجہ اور بیٹیوں نے کینیڈا کی شہریت نہیں لی ھوگی۔
تعجب ھے اس جھوٹے قادری پر، جو حلف تو کینیڈی کی ملکی سے وفاداری کا اٹھاتا ھے، لیکن پاکستان کیعدالت کے مسلمان جج کو عالی جناب نہیں کہہ سکتا ۔
واضح رھے کہ کینیڈا کی شہریت کا حلف کئی لوگوں نے اس ببنا پر نہیں اٹھایا کہ یہ حد درجہ غلامانہ ھے، ان لوگوں میں کینیڈا میں مستقل مقیم مشہور عالم قانون دان چارلس روچ بھی ھے۔
