Problem with emotional Muslims is that in their secondary sources are found strange stories which they find hard to defend so the easiest thing for them is to try and shut others up. This is a psychological lock that interferes with rational thought.
They need to clean up fabrications from their so called history and hadith books. They must be educated to try and judge that kind of material by the Quran and reject what does not match it. Unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon.
We have scholars who have spoken against such material and the awareness is growing but the progress is slow.

The authorities who wish to keep you drowned in the deep dark well to keep ruling on your thoughts & mind won't let you to break the ice, and these authorities would prefer to invest in superficial & apparent islamic traditions than digging & propagating in the real teachings & the real sense of islam.
In Pakistan there are so many religious sects, so many religious parties, so many schools of thought and to the utmost comical grade so much so that each of them have their own personal 'dress code', with particular different style and different color of their turbans and caps …lol… from where to start the correction ….
