You have to admire the powers that be, my my how they have inflated this PTI in a short couple of years. This being the same PTI that could not even win more then one solitary seat during its entire existance. How easy it is to make a fool out of these jahil awam. The whole world knows that we need a top to bottom system change which is to abolish this pre-historic feudal system, but what does PTI do, they take every feudal who is willing to join them and raise the slogan of revolution. Imran Khan was a very attractive alternate, but sadly he is slowly deflating as we learn more and more about his PTI. Even their big wigs have realized that PTI does not have the kind of future they hoped when they became lotas. Imran is the one who once said that he will not even hire Sheikh Rasheed as a Chaprasi, and now he is all hugging and hands in hands with Sheeda Tilli. LOL
You are right.
But partly the blame should be on us as well. On people who did not ask pertinent questions when pti was gaining this artificial momentum, people who did not intervene, to guide people who were falling prey to these pseudo intellectuals and pseudo revolutionaries.
There have been a good number of people who did not fall for mere slogans and rhetoric dished out by pti; people who had the foresight to see what was happening; however generally people have impressionable minds; they get excited on mere slogans. The intended harm to the rightist vote bank has been done.
Here in this interview; pti representative is admitting that ik was in negotiations not only with Musharraf but also with Nawaz shareef; long time back. Ik just wants to become a part of power politics. Simply consider his mundane slogan “mian sahib jaan deyo; sadi wari aan deyo”, is this how revolutionaries pronounce their dictum? You call this guy who is begging for power a “revolutionary” ?
The whole idea was to discredit pml-n. thats why you see pti of being oblivious of other pressing issues; we are in a state of war, Baluchistan is burning; Karachi has strife; law and order, crippling inflation, the list goes on and on, but pti is continuing its barrage against pml-n. just to appease their real masters i.e establishment; which is fearful of pml-n gaining clear majority. It is as simple as that.
I’m certain; that people who have been misled by the proponents of so called “revolution” will correct their direction as the election approaches.
