Like everyone else in Pakistan Parvez Musharraf too is playing a “blame game”. If he loves Pakistan so much then what the hell this hypocrite is doing in London, Dubai or wherever else he lives. I would have more respect for the coward if he’d owned up for his cock-ups.
For a start, he is the culprit behind the infamous NRO. He alone appointed Gujraatis and deliberately turned a blind eye to their crookedness. Under general’s own nose the Chaudharies looted the banks by borrowing hefty sums and had them written off.
During his lengthy ruler-ship the General used to profess that Benazir and Nawaz Sharif will not be allowed back in Pakistan. All of a sudden, the deal was done and both, Benazir and Nawaz Sharif did come back – if only to stitch the country up well and truly.
Benazir was killed – God knows why or what lies behind her death! Come to think of it – Nawaz Sharif is not telling the truth either. But then, Nawaz Sharif is expected to tell lies anyway… How can these people be classified as national leaders is beyond anybody’s guess. They are more like small minded crooks incapable of thinking beyond the tips of their noses.
Our parliament is packed with uncivilised, uneducated jaaly degree holders – too thick to pass a simple exam at school. One of them even go on to say that degree is a degree, as if it were. Leave it to this moron and he would soon be closing down all the educational institutes and set up stalls for certificates, diplomas or even degrees of any grade. A nice little earner…

Too bad he was dictator but as far as I am concerned, he is an honest and bold leader that Pakistan need. I live in USA and have talked to so many people from different nationalities. Everyone knows Musharraf and respect him as a leader. I request my nation to please wake up and ask yourself who is honest and who can deliver. It does not matter who is he, weather Mush or PTI or Jamait-e-islami, we need to elect an honest people!
i understand your thoughts bro , but you need to add lot more to your knowledge and once you will see whole picture / ground realities then you will better able to decide . Mr Musharaf is honest , And most army people are and have been according to our knowledge but Not only honesty is sufficient , their are other very important ingredients which one need to develop into good leader . As far as Mr Musharaf is concerned , He ruyled Pakistan with all the power for over ten years , Isnt it right ? Now when you ll study what happened all this time , which i did to a certain extent and also experienced because i was living in this country pakistan each day and was watching day to day news etc. only then you ll understand that what we need is a honest + Intelligent + Someone who values Human life too much and thinks million times befroe killing any human being + Strong Belief in God and Islam .
Imran khan and jamaat e islami were all along shouting and urging all to stop killing our own people in Pakistan , or killing people without justifying through court whether foriegn or local , respecting human life , but no one was listening , even many of our normal citizens were quite as all were busy in thier lives , but suddenly when killings by our own muslim pakistani army Which was aligned with foriegn interests targeted our own citizens in tribal areas and other areas then we saw suicide bombings in cities and finally we all selfish people understood that we shouldnt have been quite while all this killing was going on , And The Word Enlightened Moderation was used by our army general which pointed to Following non islamic values etc. Anyway i cant write all in few lines , it needs experience and study of ground realities … we should just pray to Almighty God …
Thanks a lot dear,. I am overseas Pakistani and i wish to see Pakistan in better hands and wish to see Pakistan progressing with a fast pace. i just think that its beyond these people in power and we need to vote a sincere leadership. I am sure you have a better idea about day to day situation in Pakistan but my only concern is a better Pakistan no matter what way we choose to get there! Once again thanks for sharing your ideas.
