No doubt he is good scholar and has very good knowledge but i think advance islamic calander will not help to unite the nation on one decision. only turkey use this system in europ but other countries follow Saudi Arabia even USA too.
there is only one solution to this, just follow saudi arabia and it is also according to shariah.
Pak Govt should desolve Royate-Halal commity who just waste lot of money for moon sighting and creates problems between provinces and hate between people.
Islam is very easy religion and more easy to follow but our mullas and molvies have made it very tough and hard to understand.
May Allah help us to follow the right way, amen.

salam. unfortunately dr mahatir Muhammad studies dr tahir ul qadri books and gives gifts to scholars to studies but our pakistani nation and ulema karam do not follow dr tahir land mark studies. a person who organized his institutions in 90 countries only because of his knowledge should be given consideration what he is saying. media should higlight his this speech and his research upon moon sighting evidences mathematically . I am right now sitting in new york and tomorow on sunday is eid and there is no clash anywhere. all muslims communities look and live like brotherhood. science is not apart from islamic theory.
