Olympics was a shame and embarassment for Pakistan.
Pakistan a nation of 18 crore people could not win even one medal, India won 6 medals, iran won 12 and even Bahrain, Qatar and Afghanistan won medals but Pakistan was not on the list at all.
Being a poor country is an excuse, several countries who are lot more poorer than Pakistan won medals. I think favortism, nepotism and politics has destroyed our sports. Lack of confidence and hard work in our young generation is also a big reason for our failure in world level sports.
It appears we are NIL in sports, In hockey we had a miserable defeat and Cricket is limited only to countries who were previously British colonies. Cricket is not even considered a sport by olympic committee and most of the world.
Why Aitzaz is worried about Imran Khan? His party is in govt. Why not ask Zardari to bring a change. Oh I forgot, he was so busy protecting his leader's looted money.

Those lakhs of people in lahore or any other urban area are not going to help alone. Unfortunately 70% of Pakistanis living in rural areas dont vote for you if you are not a Qureshi, a Gilani etc. He resisted it for 16 years but finally had no option but to adopt to ground realities.
