ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet expressing regret over the issue of the Olympic passport and visa scandal has decided to take legal action against British newspaper ‘The Sun’.
The federal cabinet headed by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf met here on Wednesday.
Federal Interior Secretary, Chairman NADRA and DG Passport Department were also present during the meeting and briefed the cabinet on the issue.
The decision to take legal action against ‘The Sun’ was taken when there was no evidence found against NADRA and Passport Office officials.

I m not concerned with your comment. I may just correct you when you say Ahmadi Muslim…Ahmadi are not Muslim which has been unanimous declared. The reason is that anyone who denies Khatame Nabuwat is not a Muslim. Minorities have special rights and responsibilities. Therefore question of equal rights doesnt arise. 1. No document (NIC, Passport, Visa, Letter, etc) was actually created or delivered to anyone… Only claims were made. Pakistani agents do this frequently. They make big claims, take money, and they disappear. Just go out and see how many people have been looted like this.
2. We are such a naive lot. Rather than discussing and publicizing things that hurt us, we should focus on things that hurt those who are not leaving any stone un-turned to hurt us. Even if someone makes fake Pakistani passports… so what??? We're third world country with poor systems, processes and mechanisms…
What we should instead focus and publicize is that they claimed to create a fake UK Visa! Is that how meager the Visa security systems of UK are? For fake Pakistani Passports they can simply take additional measures to check Pakistanis… but fake UK visas can be stamped on ANY nationality passport!!!

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet expressing regret over the issue of the Olympic passport and visa scandal has decided to take legal action against British newspaper ‘The Sun’.
The federal cabinet headed by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf met here on Wednesday.
Federal Interior Secretary, Chairman NADRA and DG Passport Department were also present during the meeting and briefed the cabinet on the issue.
The decision to take legal action against ‘The Sun’ was taken when there was no evidence found against NADRA and Passport Office officials.

1. No document (NIC, Passport, Visa, Letter, etc) was actually created or delivered to anyone… Only claims were made. Pakistani agents do this frequently. They make big claims, take money, and they disappear. Just go out and see how many people have been looted like this.
2. We are such a naive lot. Rather than discussing and publicizing things that hurt us, we should focus on things that hurt those who are not leaving any stone un-turned to hurt us. Even if someone makes fake Pakistani passports… so what??? We're third world country with poor systems, processes and mechanisms…
What we should instead focus and publicize is that they claimed to create a fake UK Visa! Is that how meager the Visa security systems of UK are? For fake Pakistani Passports they can simply take additional measures to check Pakistanis… but fake UK visas can be stamped on ANY nationality passport!!!
I believe there's a serious flaw in the UK Visa system, if an illiterate Pakistani can create a fake UK Visa!
I am not concerned with the fake visa etc. the thing is Pakistanis need to be realistic and accept facts if we want reforms without accepting you can't correct anything. That person was able to visit NADRA and got new NIC and Passport. By sitting in Pak you can't imagine the humiliation caused by these things the world.
