Mr Ali Sherdil I can wite long replies to each point of yours however let's come TWO NATION THEORY first. Dr Iqbal was NOT the first the person to endorse it, it was Lala Lajpat Rai and before our founding father Mr Jinnah it was Savarkar who gave the slogan of TWO NATION THEORY. A theory which was defunct even in 1947 when 30-35 mil chose to remain in India and we shut our borders on them in 1951 and by 1971 Bengalis kissed goodbye to the concept of Two nation theory. We are still living in Lalaland two nation theory. Allama Iqbal was a great poet but he never was great politician nor he can be counted as visionary in the same mould as Martin Luther King, Mandela, Washington, De Gaulle, Ataturk infact in British India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was far better visionary than Allama Iqbal. I know it's bitter but the horrible truth.
The trouble is whenever someone speaks bitter truths we tend to label them with all sorts of negativities. Hasan Nisar saab is sowing us the mirror magr ham sheeshe dekh ke dar gaye hain to isme unka kya kasoor.

Who are the learned people? The self professed (uneducated) mevlanas? A balanced view is what we must be after. Without inclusion of scientific realities into the basis of our faith building – our faith will be flawed. Having said that, let us value each other's opinion with open mind and not via dogmatism in light of what we were told as a child to be the truth and only truth. There is saying which goes, “there is no truth, there is only perception”. So let us continually strive to refine and value our perception.

Brother first of all i am not a fan of hassan nisar & personally i dont really like him but it is true that in his every show he talks abt the lives of poverty stricken society he speaks abt the hardships of people living in slums just lyk in this show he said "jin logo ki chat aur zameen apni nahi un ka vote kesay apna ho sakta hai "as i have already stated that actually he is extra pessimist and loses control over his tongue while describing our drawbacks and weak points. I recently returned from a charitable trip to Pakistan, whereby I visited both Karachi and Islamabad. I spoke with several universities, key businesses, prominent business leaders and several religious people from all generations….
On the day I returned to the office, someone had placed your magazine (January 16, 2012), on my desk. I read with interest your article on Karachi and the city in doom. For a person to have just returned from the very same place that your magazine described was somewhat bizarre, so I read with great detail your writer (Andrew Marshall’s) account.
Let me begin by saying that I often flick through your magazine and find the articles of great interest, but on this particular day and this particular article, I found certain comments to be both one sided and indeed very negative. I say that because I saw a different Pakistan to what was portrayed in your article. I do not and will not comment on the political or religious problems that the country faces, but I will go so far as to say that not everything is as bad as the image that your magazine paints.
Sure there are deaths in the cities. Please show me a city in the world, that is free from political fighting and unrest.
Sure there are differences in the political party opinions. Please show me a country in the world where the political parties agree.
Sure the innocent are suffering. Please show me a country in the world where wealth and power is equal and the innocent don’t suffer.
Sure corruption is in Pakistan. Please show me a country in the world that is corruption free.
My list could go on, but my point is that Pakistan does have problems…but so does every other country in the world in some way or another. However, in the case of ALL other nations, there are often good things to report and the media goes out of its way to promote these good things across the globe, whenever possible. The ridiculous amount of shootings in the USA are balanced off by the success of Google, Microsoft and Apple. The financial dilemmas of Greece are lost in the marketing of the Greek Islands as a holiday destination of choice. The child slave industry of India, is brushed under the carpet in favour of the nation’s growth in the global software boom. What I am trying to say, is that someone needs to look further into Pakistan and see that there are millions of great stories to write about, which would portray the country in a different light, to that what is being portrayed by your article.
When I was in Pakistan, I visited a towel manufacturing company (Alkaram Towels). They produced some $60million in export in 2011 and are aiming at $85million in 2012. A substantial increase in sales…in a recession I would remind you. The company was started by the current Chairman, Mr. Mehtab Chawla, at the tender age of nine, after his father passed away. Today the very man employs 3000 staff. Now that’s a story.
I visited universities of NED, Hamdard, Karachi, Szabist and NUST. The students are unbelievably intelligent. They spend their spare time developing APPS for android and apple. They are involved in cutting edge technology and no one in the world knows this. Why not send a reporter to Pakistan to look into this. Why not research good things in this nation, rather than just the bad things. At NUST (National Institution for Science and Technology – Islamabad)) there were 38,000 applications for medicine. There are only 83 seats for the medicine course on offer. The competition is unbelievable. In short it pushes the best to be even better. But the world doesn’t know this. Why ? Because no one wants to report on it, or no one knows about it…or both !!
Please do not get me wrong. I understand that news is news, but it is high time that the western world stopped promoting these terrorists and political wars in Pakistan and started to write something that would help the nation. Something positive. If we really care about global partnerships and economic growth, then I suggest we try and give Pakistan a helping hand. There are 180 million people in Pakistan, 65% are under the age of 25. The youth of Pakistan is its strength.. it is like a sleeping giant. If you think that India is a booming nation. I suggest you stop a second and look at Pakistan. Given a little help from the western world, Pakistan can become a dominant economy. She doesn’t want aid and she doesn’t need money… she just wants the chance to be seen in a different light. I believe we have a fundamental obligation to assist. The only question is, who will reach out first.

I agree with most of my friends who have mentioned Hasan Nasar's being too negitive and blunt . But my dear brothers if you really think harder and if you are a pakistani then you will have to accept that what he is talking is all truth. Though some do not like his open and blunt way but he is talking about the reailty . Please look around you and see only the ugly things happen around you . Even there are some good thibgs but bad are more .
We should listen to all and try to anyalize with open mind and correct our ways of life. Tell me brothers where in Pakistan you can get normal work done without the back door. Where can one get protection from crimes. Will anyone in position will listen to you without any safarash or money. What Hassan Nasar is saying is like it or not is true . Please let us make our country a good living place and then believe me people like Hassan Nasar will not be negetive . Let us do good and be proud of ourself and country.
I love my country , but where should I go to get justice . I was robbed on gun point in front of my home . My wife and daughter were with me. I thank Allah that the robbers left after we gave them what we had and they did not make any mischief. And this happens everyday everywhere it is very common in Pakistan. It is almost six months to this incidence but our police or who ever is inchrage for our protection have done nothing. Now my daughter and wife are afraid even to step out of our home.
Please think and if someone show us the mirror and reality we should accept it and not put fatwas on anyone. we should have courage to accept our mistakes .

As we cannot have a date as 1½ or ½, we choose to count the 1st day either after 29 days or 30 days. If a month is chosen as 29 days, the next month is already longer by the extra ½ day. So 29 ½ plus ½ = 30 days for the next month.
2. When the month is 30 days, the new moon will always be thicker because it is 1½ days old. This unnecessarily makes people suspicious that moon sighting has been mistakenly delayed, which is not true.
3. On any day there is always greater probability of moon sighting in Europe and America compared to Asia. This is because the moon is getting thicker by the hour, and evenings in Europe and America are 5 to 10 hours later than those in Asia.
