Asma Jehangir always digress and it seems extremely difficult for her to focus one issue/topic. She can't talk on one topic for more than 5 minutes. After sometime, she would begin to discuss everything under the sun and listener finds it extremely annyoying to see her digressing. In every type of dicuss she would digress to discuss army/ISI in her bad usual style…………….
These same upright judges were lapdogs of Gen Mush and took oath of allegiance when he abrogated the constitution and committed acts of high treason. These judges supported and fully endorsed his overthrow of the elected govt, and all his extra constitutional acts. Their faithfulness to Gen Mush continued till he issued a charge sheet against the CJ, fired him and put him and his likes in detention. The writer is portraying these same PCO justices as messiah who has been bestowed powers by God to take over the elected govt and each of its functions. The fact is in the imperfect Pakistan everything is far from perfect and each institution should work in its own boundaries for the future. We have to wage a jihad against terrorists and pay attention against them and to protect the people who have been suffering not to further our own extensions and perks.

I still doesnt understand the issue,The matter is so simple that our Judiciary has rejected NRO and ordered to re open all the cases and the govt fails.now look the behaviour of the govt with the judiciary decesions.you will feel what the govt wants.
if this SC let the amount in swiss banks go,then you and this media will shout that the rule is only for poor people .so plz first make a mind and then deceide what to do.
This is not CJ personall amount for which he is struggling day nd night

Very nice and balanced discussion. Media should continue to have more discussions like this to inform the public. Asma, as usual, very boldly presented her arguments. Salman agreed with her in a more politically correct way. But the consensus is emerging that all is not well in current judiciary.
Politicians are shooting in their foot by supporting Judges to have superiority over the parliament. I think this issue will settle when similar executive-judiciary tussle will happent between som future non-PPP government and PPP will support the government instead of judiciary. PPP did this during previous Nawaz Shareef regime.
Zardari will emerge as a hero of democracy for his persistent passive resistance against establishment.

Difference between Salman Akram Raja & Asma Jahangir is so very clear and obvioius to see. Salman is to the point and sounds fair and unbiased in this arguments, but Asma seem taking sides. She sounded anti SC and pro PPP govt. This is most disgraceful behaviour by a prominent lawer like Asma.
SC is trying to do its best in a profoundly difficult time created by the extremely corrupt Executive. The SC is not Angels, they are humans but seem sincere in their approach and dealings. But the executive is so very obviously fraudulent and corrupt.
I would say Salman Akram Raja's statement were profoundly instructive and enjoyable.

This Indian looking lady is anti establishment, anti judiciary, just like Ihtataz. She has an agenda which is anti Pakistan and pro India. So lady dood luck, India is a good place for you settle after retirement, perhaps Pakistan is not place for you.

- Can someone tell us how many marks and grades did Arsalan get in matrix and FSc
- How did he get admission in Medical college – open merit or reserved seat .. and if it was a reserved seat who arraigned that ?
- After graduation did he do a house job ?
- How did he got selected in DMG and police ? did his father not (directly or indirectly) facilitate that?
- How did he get all his money – did his father know about it or not?
