Hmn now i am getting sm clue why he is mocking always Ata ul Haq Qasmi both have been trying to get the nearness of Nawaz Shreef ,in good times Ata Qasmi succeded to become the embassedor in Norway , from the days he had grudge with Qasmi and now Aftab s goal is the same and he these days more closer to Nawaz and group and Qasmi left behind ,,,,,,so he like sm sadinist always mocks Qasmi and on other hand nevr talks about Nawaz and brothers

  3. jhalla says:

i appriciate ur bold stance Aftab but Ataqasmi is mocked continously as u had sm personal grudge,,,,,

  4. salman_haider says:

I like hakeem sb. and others but i hate aftab iqbal, he is one of the most biased person in the media against pti and pro noora league. he never make fun of nawaz sharif. read his column in the daily jang on 18th july fully biased against imran khan.

    PAKISTAN zinda bad

  6. silversurfer says:

I disagree with Aftab. A country needs at least 50 to 60 years to build a system provided it is uninterrupted.

Had Pakistan military allowed democracy to continue without propping up their own leaders, Pakistan would have been way ahead. Turkey did it.

after 1997 in turkey, the military was sidelined and the country took off.

    • Naveed Muhammad says:

i disagree with u…turkey had good polititians but pak dont have those so they could never provide anything even in cmplete democracy of these idiotts

      • silversurfer says:

        thanks for the response

Majority of the politicians are actually test tube babies of the Generals, so please be fair.

Lets talk on facts. Turkish army is strictly secular and they do not like religious parties. They use secular parties just like our establishment uses Islamic or Centre right parties.

Pak military establishment and Turkish establishment have only one thing in common which is that they want to remain as major power players and anyone who threatens them has suffered.

If any Erdogan type leader emerges in Pakistan which is highly doubtful, people would be talking of the Pakistan model rather than the Turkish model. Such is the strength of Pakistan which we never really realized.
