I am not agree with the people those are predicting the same result in NA-151 in coming election, by election is almost same party wining some time surprises are created like NA-55 when Sheikh loss but there is too much mind difference in Rawalpindin and Multan, No.1 the contest was very tough and it's very tenseness condition for PPP in coming election.

No.2: NA-151 is the constancy of former Prime Minister and during his tenure he is trying to delivered better that's y he make a lot of roads, flyovers, and other development for thier people, that was a plus point for them.

No.3: Javed Hashmi is principally don't like Bossan and family so also the plus point for PPP.

No.4: People of Multan don't have a extra ordinary knowledge and mind to accountable for their representative, in short they vote for Gillani not PPP or Zardari

No.5: PPP or Gillani will not win this seat in General Election i am 100% confident. Inshallah.

All of us having a good hope and be positive about our country and about our loyalties.

    Thanks

    Gillanis Re-election

    Awam Jahil

    Javid jamaitia is wizard.

Media failed because it has been partisan and not objective through out, targeting PPP only like courts. People know the condition of graduation and application of 63 (1) (g) was malafide these provisions has never been part of original scheme of constitution but incorporated by dictators for their vested interest and media failed miserably to highlight this truth.

  4. k.pervez says:

Despite all Siasat, all Sahafat, all Adalalt, all Jamait PPP won election Na 151.

Despite all corruption, all loadsheding, all lawlessness, all unemployment people could not tolerate the insult of their mandate robbed unlawfully by judges and media.

    T. V Anchors made premature comments on results and disinformed public largely. Factually Qadir Gillani got exactly 5595 less votes as compared to 2008 elections but Anchors reported big deficit. They failed to mention combined voted of Q and Noon league as 66903 and also failed to report less turn over (12000 less polled). However they reported tacit support of Noon league and JI to PTI and still lost election.

NA 151 (2008) as per Web site Pak Election Commission Total polled (137401) —– in 2012 total polled (12500)

    Gillani (PPP) 70498 Vote

    Bosan ( PMLQ) 45764

    Bucha (PMLN) 17139

    Total 66903

Najam Sethi fears ISI; broadcasting from home

Lahore: Najam Sethi, host of a political chat show ‘Aapas Ki Baat’, has been broadcasting from his home as he fears he may be killed because of his public criticism in the programme of Pakistan army and the ISI, The Guardian reports.

Sethi has been more concerned about his and his family’s life after he told his audience after the May 2 raid that Pakistan must have been “complicit or incompetent” during Osama bin Laden stay in the country.

Sethi said he went into a fierce face-to-face confrontation with a very senior ISI official after the episode. “He accused me of everything, anti-Pakistan, anti-army, anti-everything.”

“With the top brass apoplectic, high-level government officials warned Sethi his name had been circulated on a hit list. A kidnapping plot, he was told, had been hatched involving two militant groups with links to the ISI,” the website reports.

Sethi said: “In thirty years of English journalism, I got maybe three threats. But in three years in television I get one or two threats every day.”

First comment by pakiboyy123 is the main and the core point most people who are blaming the qhole nation as corrupt is stereotypic idiots. If all people of Pakistan are corrupt then they wont able to defeat Musharaff n his league with all the set up they were more powerful but got humiliated defeat through the hand of the people of Pakistan.

There are many factors which we should count first ppp invested huge capital on development in multan, Second they are in federal govt, Third no electricity shortfall in Multan Fourth Many Development projects are still in progress So if they havent elected the ppp candidate They will lose the blessing of electricity all the on going projects would have been stopped and plus If junior gilani have lost their will have no impact in the govt.

In my view they have done well. And InshAllah people of multan and rest of Pakistan will defeat the filth of pp,mqm and anp and I hope people will elect moderate progressive parties like Pmln,PTI and JUI. Lets hope for the best in the coming election this bielection means nothing. Prepare for the main battle.

    And Happy Ramazan

    Allah Bless Pakistan

  22. MazdoorKissanParty says:

I agree, enough with these intellectual debates. Most of Pakistani people are rural and democracy doesn't suit them. They routinely vote against their self-interest and Pakistani interests. To have a healthy democracy, we need an educated population absent of feudalism. Otherwise, democracy would always be hijacked by special interests and feudal lords. We need a prolonged authoritarian government which would violently rid Pakistan of feudalism and make education common, and then we deserve a system like democracy.

    • shaukat ali chughtai says:

I agree with you, we must go for an authoritarian regime which could solve issues and does not involve in non issues. Get rid of taliban from the whole country and then work on economic development and give more importance to social issues. We have change the mindset of the people, give them exposure to see the world and globe with their blurred eyes.

I congragulate PPP on this win. Gailani did not only win, he defeated PMLN, PTI, JUI and all the rest that were supporting the independent member. Uptill this moment I was hopeful and confident that with all that baggage of corruption it will be super hard for PPP to win but I was wrong!

From this point onward I have lost hope and the future of this country looks really dark to me. I don't see any good coming out of the next elections.

Well, Good luck Gailani family. Raj Karo

education na hony ki waja sy eman ki kazori hai logon mai. loog samajhty hain k ye jageerdar, wadery, ye makhdoom aur gillani in ko rizq dety hain.

jis din ALLAH par yakeen ho jaey ga k rizq ka wada ALLAH ny kiya hai wo zaroor dey ga tab loog roti k liye aur naukri k liye vote nahi dain gay

aur mery khayal mai next election mai bhi yehi ho ga kion k in jageerdaron ny aapny mazaroon aur kamiyon tak education jany hi nahi de. PAKISTAN ki 65% sey zayada population inhi jageer daroon k under hai. taleem insaan ko soch deti hai aur soch pactical ki taraf ley jati hai. taleem nahi to vote inhi ka rehy ga agly 65 saal tak. ye nahi hoon gay in k bachy hukumat karain gay.

KAASH 47 k baad koi land reforms kara k in jageerdaron aur waderoon ki bari bari jageerain khatam karta.

  29. Inqelab says:

Media debates are not gone educate public in villages. We have to fight with mafia on ground levels. System needs to modify and improve. Until the public is dependent on mafia politics for their "Patwaree" level jobs then change is not going to happen.

General public is dependent on mafia politics for their day to day life routine matters. You can not get your land line phone repair even without the help and support of local political mafia member.

Democracy is only good for those countries where basic fundamental rights are given without prejudice and the interference of political mafia.

We talk about democracy but in practical we have feudal system all over the place. Police, Patwaree and Tehsildar are under the influence and control of political mafia and they work for them , obey them rather than doing public job.

Once you give fundamental rights to public without prejudice then you can ask them to vote for democracy.

Education plus rights should be given at gross route level to bring change in next 20 to 30 years. Short cut is only revolution otherwise we can not see any change in our life's.

Mafia will win again and again and laud that they are right choices of the public. Jamshed Dasti and Abdul Qadir Gillani are recent examples of mafia winners.

  30. Agent says:

Honestly speaking, We do not need democracy. Majority of Pakistanis are Jahill, Ganwar, Illttrate and brain less. They do not know what is best for the country. So really we need democracy??????These bloody people have no idea what the f'k is going to happen with them. Another sad day for Pakistan.

  31. pakiboyy123 says:

I Like the debate – Only and Education can and will make the difference. People are so illiterate – they can't make the decision.

OFF Course – GILANI has lotted billion and spend million on people, so off course they will WIN the election. BUT if you look at the number, INDEPENDENT was close, but corruption again, wins the GAME

  32. sohailgagai says:

what they got 60,000 votes ????????????
who gave them vote …. and for what ??????????
is multan = London , sahee kiya hamare sath yahee hona chaiye !!
