I am against changing the contempt of Court law, we should never tie the hands of Judges, at the same time I expect the Judges to be fair, honest and free of any prejudice.
I think Supreme Court and Chief Justice invited this bill of limmiting the powers of Judiciary for contempt of Court.
Judiciary is also accountable like anyone else, they are not above Law. They get public money for their budget and they cannot refuse to submit for audit. Same goes for Armed Forces.
PML/ Nawaz is protesting for the bill but I am sure they are happy with this bill restricting the powers of Supreme Court. In the past they attacked Supreme Court when they were unhappy with Supreme Court for going after their leader Nawaz Sharif.
