To Qamar Zaman Kaira sahib,(1) i am the dual nationality holder living many years in UK/EU..respectfully i don not agree with you about british born citizens waving the Pakistani flages due to their Pakistani emotions but 100% people living here regardless of nationalities know this fact that racism can not allow any one in any country outside pakistan to mix with the outsidal culture.further you know also british born is not enough here for our kids they must have their identity of origion.for eample british born indian,british born bangladeshi,british born americans etc..
(2) People who born here seldemly go back to pakistan and even prefer die here alone in single room of a small smelly flat.how much of us went back to pakistan other than deported, illegal people?
(3) 16 countries who you mentioned do not respect our dual officials and to us equally because they know they opened a visa-business for problematic societies & from history it is clear that no country in reality born poor but people make it poor by their internal valuation culture that if tomorow govt reward a rich change by rich changes then economy is not far to touch its hikes. world is no more like 10 year before.our world is us not foreign passports.
(4) people who send money in small amount are legal and registered to send it in pakistan but people who send outside pakistan the same our money they send by stealing ways and not registered.
(5) officials on important places never ever are exampled and never mixed into any nationality…just greed motivate you to commit mistakes please do not oppose the restrictions on dual nationality further ristriction.pakistan must be a welfare state not a stolen state..plzzzz ..gain a respect.

آپ جیسے سمجھدار لوگ جب نان ایشو کو ایشو بناتے ہیں تو افسوس ہوتا ہے ، یہ کوئی پاکستان کی خدمات ہے اور نہ مفاد صرف آپکا روزگار ہے کیونکہ آپکو خبر چاہیے ،ایشو چاہیے،چاہے معاشرے میں انتشار پھیلے ،بیچینی میں اضافہ ہو مگر آپکی نوکری لگی رہے ملک اور اسکے لوگ بھلے ہی جائیں بھاڑ میں -
جتنا نقصان موجودہ حکومت نے پہنچایا ہے اتنا ہی نقصان میڈیا نے ، عدلیہ نے اور نام نہاد اپوزیشن نے بھی پہنچایا ہے – آپ سب اس میں برابر کے شریک ہیں – اگرچہ میں آپ کے بارے میں اچّھی راے رکھتا ہوں ،آپ کا انداز تخاطب مہذبانہ ہے ،ملک کے لیے درد بھی رکھتے ہونگے ،مگر شاید ہم سب کہیں نہ کہیں خودغرض ہو جاتے ہیں – کہیں اپنے مفاد کے لیے ،کہیں کسی سے ذاتی عناد کی بنا تو کہیں ذاتی پسند نہ پسند کارفرما ہوتی ہے -
آپ خود ہی فرما رہے تھے کہ جو لوگ اسمبلیوں میں بیٹھے ہیں وہ اس ملک کی دولت اٹھا کر باہر لے گئے ہیں اور اور مزے سے کاروبار وہاں ہو رہے ہیں اور سیاست یہاں ،انپر پابندی کے لیے تو آپ کوئی آواز نہیں اٹھاتے ،کیوں؟؟؟ کیا اسلئے کہ وہ صرف پاکستانی شہریت رکھتے ہیں ؟ کیا جو صرف پاکستانی شہریت رکھتے ہیں انھیں کھلی چھوٹ ہے ؟ خدا کے واسطے یہ متعصبانہ رویہ چھوڑیں – یہ دوہری شہریت رکھنے والے پاکستانی آپ کے ان پاکستانیوں سے زیادہ محب وطن ہیں جو صرف پاکستان کی شہریت رکھتے ہیں اور انسے زیادہ پاکستان کا مفاد انھیں عزیز ہے بلکہ دیکھا جائے تو مفاد تو عزیز ہی انھیں ہے ورنہ وہ ہر مشکل گھڑی میں دامے درمے سخنے پاکستان کی مدد نہ کریں. جتنا پیار وہ پاکستان سے کرتے ہیں ، پاکستان میں بسنے والا عام آدمی بھی اتنا پیار نہیں کرتا ہوگا ،جو بے چین ہو جاتے ہیں ذرا کوئی واقہ ہو جائے پاکستان میں تو ،،آپکی تو خبر بن جاتی ہے مگر انکے دل پر کیا گزرتی ہے بس وہی جانتے ہیں ….
دوہری شہریت رکھنے والے پاکستانیوں پر انگلی اٹھانے والے اور انکے جذبہ حب الوطنی پر شک کرنے والے پہلے اپنے گریبانوں میں جھانک کر دیکھیں ،وہ کتنے حب الوطن ہیں – ان اسسمبلی کے ممبران جو اپنی اپنی پارٹی کے ہیڈ بھی ہیں ،جنکے کاروبار بھی باہر ہیں ،جنکے بچے بھی باہر ہیں ، جو کئی سالوں سے پاکستان کو چوس رہے ہیں – مگر آپ صحافی حضرات میں سے آدھے انکے ساتھ ہیں اور آدھے دوسروں کے ساتھ – آپ انمیں سے آدھوں کے خلاف ہونگے تو باقی آپکے بھائی آپکے پسند کرنے والوں کے خلاف مگر اس سب کے بیچ ملک کہیں نظر نہیں آ رہا صرف اور صرف آپکی پسند نہ پسند ،ذاتی عناد یا مفاد نظر آ رہا ہے … مجھے کم از کم اس بیچ آپکی پاکستان سے محبت نظر نہیں آ رہی -

I haven't see this interview as I think its against my dignity and honor to watch any PPP leader interview. Being an expat I feel proud that I am contributing to my nation's economy. More than 80% share of remittance come from those country who don't give nationality to expats. They are the real heroes, they need acknowledgement not those who enjoys split nationality. Talat by reading journalism you cannot become a lawyer and this is yr problem, Read Justice "Katju, of Indian supreme court legal opinion on the issue at hand, reported by Express Tribune.
As regards (1), the cases against Mr. Zardari cannot go on, at least as long he is the President, because section 248(2) of the Constitution specifically says that not only no criminal case can be instituted against the President, but also that none can be continued. So even if a criminal case was pending against him when he became the President it cannot continue so long as he is the President. The wording of the section is clear and unambiguous, and it is a settled principle of interpretation that when the language of a provision is clear then the only rule of interpretation which applies is the literal rule. { SIMPLY MEANS WHERE THE LANGUAGE OF LAW IS CRYSTEL CLEAR THERE IS NO ROOM FOR INTERPRETATION. IT CAN BE DONE ONLY WHEN THERE IS ANY AMBUIGTY }

The Pujaris of Zardari are spreading miss-information about the Supreme Court verdict of 2009 against the NRO. The apex court neither asked the government to open a case against Zardari in Switzerland neither it asked for the continuation of a previous case.
All it said was that the government should write a letter to a Swiss court that the people of Pakistan are an interested party in $60 million of frozen asset of Zardari. [And whenever the case resumes against the accused (presumably after Zardari is no more a President), Pakistani people would pursue it so. This would be an undoing of a Musharraf era letter by Attorney General Malik Qayyum that Pakistani people are not interested in the looted $60 million.

What is Qamar Zaman talking about!! What does he know about dual national Pakistani living outside Pakistan. Qamar, write to me and I will give you first hand knowledge. As much (as he narrated the story) dual nationals living outside Pakistan love Pakistan (and I am not doubting that) but they have preferred to stay (anyone can give any reason – that doesn't matter) in the country that they are living today and would not like to go back to Pakistan that exist today. Let us be honest, no one has held their hands back. No country is begging them to stay back.
There is only one simple question for Qamar.
WHY DOES A PAKISTANI LIVING IN PAKISTAN (AND THAT ALSO IN THE GOVERNMENT POST) NEEDS A FOREIGN PASSPORT? What does he want to keep that passport for??
Dear Talat, As much as I admire you, lets acknowledge, your preparation for the interview was not enough – may be you have too many things going on back to back.
With that said, in an couple of weeks everyone will forget about this and jump on to another issue.
This is nothing but a distraction from real issue and that is Pakistani Corruption and day light kidnapping, killing and robbing – which has beaten all time records. Everyone has forgotten what is happening in Karachi and Baluchistan everyday. We as a nation are so insensitive and mentally corrupt that it doesn't bother us when we hear dozen of people get robbed on gun point, kidnapped and killed everyday in Karachi and rest of the country.
