The powerful interests have divided the awam into Sindhi, Pathan, Punjabi, Baluch, Muhajir so that the society becomes fragmented and rather than hold their masters accountable become more involved in protecting their criminal acts on the excuse that if Punjabi master can do this, why not my master or if Sindhi master can do this why not my Pathan master. The more the masters steal and pilferage the more we protect their ills. Karachi is a typical example of a mini Pakistan where each ethnicity is protecting their masters come what may be. To the extent that hate has perpetuated so deep that the "civil society" of Karachi is willing to turn a blind eye to mass murder being committed there. In one of my recent visit to Karachi and sitting having dinner at an elite Club near old Metropole Hotel, I was shocked where a very noble senior citizen (who I've known for over 30 years) was actually justifying the killings of a certain ethnicity in the city. How have people changed so much is unbelievable. Citizens actually contribute willingly for their ethnic parties on the demand that they have to buy arms and knowing fully well that it will be used to murder some kid or poor soul of another ethnicity. I am sure that the same is true for other mature people of other ethnicity who probably preach the same thing and remain silent when pain is suffered on the other side.
I have to ask; Is this country worth fighting for any longer? Is it worth praying for any longer? The people within hate each other more than they hate Hindus or Jews. There is no justification to keep Pakistan as a country on the map of the world!! I hate to say these words and I never thought that in my life, I would ever say that.
