Even though I still believe that there is a set up from Dunya TV in Riaz interview but its not completly your fault.

My judgement tells me that luqman is telling the truth. But in a country where people are living in self denial and where Talat Husain is considered as an analyst who is going to believe him. Its such a sorry state to see that people take these anchors so seriously. People should listen to news and listen to the opinions of these anchors but should make up their own mind. An interview is an interview wheather planted or non planted. The purpose of the interview is to listen to the view of the person being interviewed. People should pay more attention to what Malik Riaz was answering not what is being asked.

All viewers and Luqman fans are requested to set aside emotionalism just be a judge for his rights and wrongs actions. I believe his rights are many many more then his wrongs. 1. The man who was not able to answer the questions of junior reporters in his press conference and ran away in the middle, what made him so confident and relax in front of two Top Class anchors who were famous for their rude behavior and tough questions?
2. He, the tekadar, was supposed to answer your Khari questions, but very strange, he was asking questions instead of answering questions. The feeling was that he was taking interview and you were his assistants.

I used to trust Mr Talat Hussain as the most honest anchor and journalist of them all till last night when i sat with a high ranking navy officer who is a relative of mine and he told me that Talat himself has admitted before the staff meeting at lahore few weeks ago where he was invited that he would say positively of a person who gives him money after all he too has children to feed.
I ask Mr talat to please come clear about the sources of his money and other stuff. and be clear as to why there seemed to be some sort of bias when he was doing program on mubashir when he said that we dont listen to the guests. lucman is already a known balck sheep but you should not destroy your reputation this way.
I wached luqman explanation video, I think that he is telling true. In the second hand planed interview never ever come live.
I am not convinced yet of what i have heard. although its 100 % reliable source for me. the thing is we used to believe good for kashif abbasi who is himself good friend of talat. see he married mehr after knowing all the truth about her affair with qamar zamar kaira and what she used to do to get attention (e.g american embassy pics) then in the program mehr bokhari herself brought kashif with herself. how kashif would not know of his wife and then what makes certain that talat is also 100 % clean. just by doing one program against malik riaz.
i still believe that talat is a man who can be trusted but only if he tell us how he build that 2 crore ruppes house in islamabad and other at lahore. how much he earns from news channels. although he did one program on his assests. but how come some bank gives him loan of crore rupees. etc. there are several other ways to keep the money.

I donot think mubashir lukman soldout to riaz malik , because if he was he would quitely do the interview , not gotup from the table even do compromise with mehar . When mehar said that the question is planted tone of her voice was as if she did not like do do this question but have to dothis question because of pressure from **********.
Even if the video of during break not come out, the remark of mubashir when he came back,that he is under pressure ,which went live ,was enough to disregard malik riaz credibility. this means mubasir couldnot be favouring mr riaz.
If we look at the overall effect of all this a major crisis was resolved in favour of the sureme court. Because the ppp govt had already typed a letter of reference notice against cheif justice. After this funnily conducted interview ,zardari was not in a position to do any movement against cheif justice.

AS we always say, everybody has a right for fair trial. I know how things can be manupulated in vidios and I am sure they were. I can agree with lot of things you said but one statement hold me from believing you in full and that is, Mahar Bukhari saying "It should not look like this is planted, though it is". what will you say about it?

First of all, it is a fact that Mubasshar Laqman has been in and around PTI’s activities but that does not mean that PTI should be held responsible for his arguably malicious acts. Many anchorpersons, implicitly, and explicitly are associated with different political parties. For example Rauf Klasara is an open supporter of the PPP and Dr. Danish is of MQM. I have full faith in Imran Khan. Howevr, I think that Imran should be more discreet in his choice of people supporting his party’s cause. Laqman’s association with the PTI does not add up to Imran’s image. Imran is priceless and a ‘class’ of his own.
There was ‘angling’ involved in this programme. It was a planted interview. Even a retard can understand that. Lets’ look at ML’s rebuttal point by point:
1) It is not important that Ali Musa or Abdual Qadir Gialni called you or not during the programme. The important thing is Riaz’s conformation of Laqman being the ‘only anchor who is through his son (Ali Riaz)’ besides being a close family friend of Riaz’. So, that establishes his intimate links/ ties with Riaz and his corrupt mafia. It is clear that he (and many other anchorpersons) ‘grill’ these people/ politicians in TV shows too often at their own choice and behest in order to make a fake ‘narrative’ look original. It is common in the media industry these days.
2) Mujeeb Shami and Salem Safi have nothing to do with Laqman’s case. It is pathetic that ML hides behind these people who are relatively cleaner and are not in the picture.
3) Does it really matter if you have or not seen the ‘evidence’ of Arslan’s corruption from Riaz? He is your chum. So, what if you have not seen the documents? It is possible that Saleem Safi could not be ‘controlled’ by Riaz but that does not mean that you are as morally impeccable as Saleem could have been or is. This argument is also flimsy. Sadly, you sound self-righteous.
4) If you and Mehar do not share comfortable professional and social relationship then why did in that off-the-record conversation you said that the three of you (Mehar+ Kashif Abbasi+Laqman) would meet at 11.pm (you have called up that ‘social meeting’) and then you were supposed to make ‘fun’ ( twa lagian ga) of other anchorpersons. In fact it proves that you are hobnobs and socialise together. Even Kashif Abbasi appears in this picture. What makes you cocksure that Hamid Mir is behind this? Is it a personal vendetta?
5) Mehar said that they would ‘edit’ certain things later on so it was a policy interview. Meahar said to you to ask (Riaz) at least to ‘clear our names’. Why? What for? Mehar righty used the word ‘compromise’ in her unconvincing explanation. Much is compromised between the two of you.
Theme of the Dunya TV: you are right. But not everyone’s conscience can be ‘bought’. Mujeeb Shami is a seasoned journalist and enjoys a good reputation in his community. Do not use his reference to clarify your position. In many channels people come up with their diverse opinions it does not mean that their moral credibility is same. The rule of diversity does not help on this count. Everyone knows that Mian Amir, like many other politicians, is under Riaz Malik’s thumb. It is obvious that he is responsible for cartelization of the society.
6) It sounds very shadowy when you say that you would precisely provide the details of your ‘assets’ only for the last five years.
7) CJP has taken actions on your findings (investigative stories): it is appreciable, but one good act does not compensate for the damage inflicted by one or half bad act. Every act must be seen in its precise context.
8) It certainly does not matter whether you have fled from the scene or not but what matters most is that your ‘moral credibility’ is tainted. You are entitled to give your side of the story.
