The whole game is very easy to understand. Even if the CJ had reviewed Malik Riaz's cases, the drama unfolded now was already planned 4/5 years ago since the beginning of NRO. In fact the hearing of Malik's cases in SC would have given him a golden opportunity to malign the CJ publicly on the basis of documentary proof against Arsalan. Since CJ has not given him any favor, Malik Riaz could not do a direct onslaught on CJ except a mention of his past meetings none of which was one-on-one. The Press Conference was more damaging to Malik himself alone than anybody else. What a pity!

Why do people assume that anchors are not real people with their own likes dislikes etc they are not angels but none of us are. Prominent anchors such as these are approached by all sorts of people who may try to put forward their own questions , and these people are high profile people…it is called journalism. We need man like Talat to speak clearly and intelligently and giving a real materials for consumtion. Also analysing the matter with past and present contest and pointing its future repurcussions.

In defence of Mehr, her body language during the on and off scenes clearly demonstrates her uneasiness. I think Mehar Bukhari was sincere for the most part… except when she said that the interview is planted. On the other hand this interview has not been a good one for Mubashir Luqman. First of all throughout the interview he mostly asked bogus questions and tried to divert attention from the main discussion. Then he starts acting like a 2 year old and leaves the show and then lies about why he left the show. Mubashir has also exposed his jealousy towards Hamid Meer. I used to like Mubashir, but after today my trust in him is greatly diminished.
P.s. this also proves that anchors have instructions from their owners not to talk negatively about MQM.
