Jalsa at Karachi of Imran Khan was successful as well as fantastic. But Mr.Khan has no clear Menifesto of TI which must be printed and distributed among members and public specailly in USA so members can explain to Pakistani’s as this is the basic question when someone talk abt TI.
Important Issue is strength of the party by so called leaders of other parties and old political game players. They will make TI failure and public problems will never be solved with the older politicians or even youger one’s from other parties. If they are not loyal to the parties where they were Ministers, Senators ,MPAs and close to the party top leaders how they can be loyal to Mr.Khan.
Jalsa was successful because MQM stayed away ,cooperated with Mr.Khan with certain conditions and the major condition is
1) Mr.Khan will not criticse MQM Leadership during his speech and no other leader too will follow Mr.Khan ( this was correct)
2) MQM can smell the change and they are sure that Imran Khan will be the next PM of Pakistan. mQM is unable to live without Power in Karachi. They have lust of Power so they can join hands with any party in power. They have taken promise from Mr.Khan or they promised with him for joint government in Karachi when Mr.Khan comes to Power.
I have one example .When Bhutto sahib launched party, he needed people of light and heavy weight as members to strengthen the party numbers. Accordingly he accepted every tom,dick and harry. Un-expectidely Bhutto shaib won the power and appointed ministers ,Governors from the members of the party immaterial of their background or character like Ashiq Kaleem from Attock, Hakmeen Khan,Anwer Samma and many others in Sindh, Baluchistan and Punjab. Ashiq Kaleem was not even matriculate, Hakmeen Khan was just matriculate and so on. In Baluchistan Health Minsiter was Imam Masjid a moulvi ,illitrate and few other Moulvi’s were also Minister.
What happend corruption emerged as in Pakistan corruption initiated by PPP during Mr.Bhutto’s regime with thousands of witnesses.
Journalists asked Mr Bhutto in a press conference that why you have inducted all corrupt (Financially and morally) as Minister,Senators and what not ? His answer was very blunt ‘HE SAID WHEN I ANNOUNCED PPP NO EDUCATED AND GENTLE PERSON WAS INTERESTED TO JOIN PPP, SO TO MAKE PARTY STRENGH I ACCEPTED EVERYONE IMMATERIAL TO THEIR STATUS AND BACK GROUND”. Unexpectidly they also won their seats, so I did’nt have any choice except to offer all available positions to them” . What happened Bhutto suffered and his life was taken to gallows because of his corrupt and disloyal MNA;s, MPA’s,Ministers,Senators etc. His daughter Ms.Benazir Bhutoo was victims of internal party differences and disloyality of her own leaders.
NOW MR KHAN IS REPEATING THE SIMILAR ACT AND THIS WOULD BE VERY HARMFUL FOR PAKISTAN AND MR.KHAN. However he is the leader and have prorogative to decide.
There are millions of factors for failure of our previous governments but Baluchistan is one of the major factor. I am from Bakuchistan and have served the Government also but there is victmization at every level. Public living under the poverty line,their daughters are not safe,their son’s are being killed and they are all innocents, they are not in politics,they are not intruders,they are students and labor. Sardars do not let any industry to progress, Gold mine ,Cooper ,Marble and many other minerals are all in Baluchistan including Oil in sea in Baluchistan Terrotary but Government is weak and corrupt,sharing corruption money with Sardars to keep the general public under pressure. Every factor is know to all leaders and even general public but Mr.Khan has not paid any attention to Baluchistan. He is holding JALSA’s every where but not in Baluchistan, WHY…he is being misguided by so called leaders joining him from other parties.
He has not holding any JALSA in Interior Sindh also..how he would become PM of the Country ?
I have many questions who can answer ,I blv no one.

At last, Imran Khan brought his “Tsunami” (with him ) to Karachi. Almost every thing regarding the Jalsa was as per expectations. The participants, their originality, the speeches, all these had already been conceived even before the jalsa was held.
The last 30 years of the political history of Karachi reveal that whoever comes or is brought to Karachi for “proving” his presence, targets especially the “grey areas” of the city which are generally considered as the non-MQM voters. These “leaders” also try to malign MQM so as to distract its voters for their parties. However, they do not expect “much” from this and their top priority is the same “non-MQM voters”. That is what their speeches in the public gatherings in the city reflect. They never take up the basic issues being faced by the Karachiites.
That is exactly what which happened in the recently held PTI`s galas on 25th of December. The PTI leaders, in their speeches, just discussed Nawaz Sharif, the President Zardari, corruption, foreign policies, Memo scandal, America etc. No PTI leaders including Imran Khan took up and spoke about the basic and long pending issues being faced by the Karachiites including Quoata system, biased policy regarding the provincial and federal jobs, double standard in the vacancies of Army, Rangers, Police, MI, IB, FIA, ISI, control in the administration of the city to the Karachiites, constituting the judicial commission to probe the killings in the city especially during the last three decades etc. Even there would be very few sentences having the word like “Karachi” except “Ye Karachi Ka Jalsa” or “Aj Karachi Ka Jalsa” etc.
As mentioned earlier that the apparent reason of such a policy is that these “leaders” and their parties do not address the “Karachiies” despite the fact that they are in the Karachi public gatherings. The PTI`s Jalsa indicated the same. The thousands of the people present in the Jalsa had come from outside Karachi; Most of the remaining participants as “Karachiites” belonged to the same “Non-MQM voters”; the remaining of the people were from the well-off class which does not get affected by any sort of problems in the city. If still there was any group of “Karachiites” practically facing the above-stated basic issues, it was totally ignored by the PTI “leaders”.
Considering all these, it looked as if the jalsa was being held in Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, or Peshawer. In my opinion, there would have been no major difference if the same “jalsa” would have been held in any of these cities. Rather, majority of the participants would have felt quite ease in reaching the jalsa venue.
It is also very interesting to notice that the PTI leaders had been directly and indirectly asking MQM to allow PTI to hold its 25th December Jalsa in Karachi. In fact, MQM did not have the concerned authorities in that respect. Yet they were trying to give the impression as if MQM had to give the permission for the gathering. But, if it was really true then why did the PTI leaders not submit their request to the “90” instead of the Sindh government?
Anyway, quite in contrast to PTI`s perception, MQM facilitated it in getting the permission by convincing the Sindh government. Otherwise, the PTI might have faced some problems in this respect. That is the reason why none of the PTI leaders spoke about MQM. I do not know if they also alter their traditional perception about MQM in future or not. God knows the best. To me, MQM is the standard of truth in the Pakistani politics. Whoever respects and embraces it, makes his or its future. But, the ones who try to disregard it, face the defeat at last and become the part of the history. So, the decision is of PTI.
Moreover, after the PTI`s Karachi jalsa, some of the anti-MQM analysts started claiming that PTI might hit MQM`s vote bank too. As I have stated above that the “new comers” try to attract especially the non-MQM voters and, at the same time, they also try to malign MQM in order to switch its voters to their own parties. As far as maligning MQM is concerned, the PTI did to do that. Nor did they take up the common and basic issues of the MQM voters. Of course when Imran Khan could take up and favor the demand of Hazarah province, why could he have not spoken about the basic issues of the Karachiites? Was the condemnation of the biased policies including the quoata system and the promise to abolish it, not truly as per system of justice that Imran Khan has been claiming to enforce in Pakistan? Anyway, he did not do that. Then, what else attraction was remaining in the PTI`s jalsa for the traditional MQM`s voters?
So, there was no concern for MQM at all regarding the PTI`s public gathering. Whoever got worried about it, showed their reactions immediately after the jalsa by criticizing PTI and its chairman. Even these concerned political leaders criticized PTI for the reason that its leaders did not speak against MQM.
As per my understanding, MQM is, in fact, quite happy to see PTI`s success all over the country. It is assuming as if its own message or philosophy spreading all over Pakistan under the name of PTI. No matter PTI successfully forms its own government in the country and solves the people’s problems, or gets burst like a balloon inflated through a “machine” even before its destination, it would have certainly fertilized the ground for MQM for future.
Moreover, if it is really true that Imran Khan, like other political parties, is only using the slogan of revolution against the landlords, even then MQM is there to act as a check on him. So, MQM as the only most matured and sensible party is closely perusing the present “game” being played on the ground of the Pakistani politics and, up to now, it looks to be very content with its position that is reflecting through its gestures too. Therefore, the “analysts” should not worry about its future at all as the future is of MQM Insha Allah.
Future will show, how great is Imran Khan.

IMRAN KHAN has again FAILED to fill the LEADERSHIP VACUUM in PTI and is left with no OPTION but to IMPORT FAILED and REDUNDANT politicians from MUSHARAF era and to give a GOOD NAME to his EFFORTS has done a GOOD COVER UP and a MAKE OVER by importing SHAH MEHMOOD QURESHI and MAKHDOOM JAVED HASHMI to create a SMOKE SCREEN but the NATION cannot be FOOLED by such TACTICS as the MEDIA is always there to EXPOSE such DOUBLE STANDARDS and it is CLEAR that he is playing the ESTABLISHMENT game.
IMRAN KHAN was not SINCERE in RESTORING the INDEPENDENT JUDICIARY and went UNDERGROUND. That he has himself REVEALED and the NATION therefore thinks that he is EITHER a COWARD or working for MUSHARAF UNDERGROUND.
IMRAN KHAN likes going UNDERGROUND and that is why he has been a FAILURE in POLITICS for more than 16 years in POLITICS and if he has any SHAME must QUIT POLITICS ASAP.
The NATION has LAUNCHED a CAMPAIGN to get RID of ZARDARI and instead of JOINING hands with PML-N in this GOOD CAUSE, he is bent to dismantle and weaken this MOVEMENT and is causing distraction for the NATION on this FIRST and FOREMOST priority and PAAGAL KHAN must put his priorities in a PROPER order if he has any SENSE.
IMRAN KHAN wants to play a LEADERSHIP match in POLITICS while NAWAZ SHARIF has already played and won all the MATCHES and has a TRACK RECORD of MANY ACHIEVEMENTS compared to his TRACK RECORD of MANY FAILURES.
The NATION has great RESPECT for NAWAZ SHARIF and will not TOLERATE any ABUSE and any JALSA no matter how BIG it may be, does not necessarily mean that it will TRANSLATE into that many VOTES. The ACHIEVEMENTS of NAWAZ SHARIF are well DOCUMENTED in the HEARTS and MIND of the NATION and so are the FAILURE of PAAGAL KHAN who is trying to lead the NATION into a DESERT with TSUNAMI of no HOPE, but PTI DESTRUCTION which has started from MUSHARAF era

I am critique of MQM. But to be fair, MQM is the only party whose leadership accepted with honesty and open-mind the success of this historic Jalsa.
Other leaders showed their typical "ghatia sooch" (cheap thinking).
PTI members may disagree, but if MQM stop politics of violence, PTI and MQM are closer to each other by their manifesto than any other two parties.

I think MQM benefits most because of Imran entry in Karachi, ANP and PPP will lose or they will be sharing the votes together with PTI; that is why the participants were mostly from areas dominated by ANP, Model town sher Shah, a gathering of less of than 200,000 ( Refer Down of 26th )
As said earlier PTI has not been able to sell itself to Karachites its backers i.e Establishment might have been counting on it, no one joined the party from Sindh besides unlike MQM no one addresses themas Mohajirs so for PTI they are urdu speaking people we not as Punjabis or Sindhis, if Imran wants to enter Karachi or Sindh he has to decide on this, I think if someone wants to give MQM a tough time they have to address people of Karachi as Mohajirs else MQM would remain the sole representative of Karachites. Besides this Mohajirs have tasted the 4th tier of Govt. Local Bodies political leaders have to assure them that this will be reinstated ASAP.

i am a strong well wisher of imran khan. one point which i didnot find in all the speeches was about the ELECTION COMMISSION and FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS and verifiable autheticated voters lists., imran khan should have strongly warned zardari thug and his associates, not to manipulate the voters lists. IK should have strongly recommended chief justice to take the action against the delay in preparing real voters list as per nadra data base, and should have reminded his voters to get their names endorsed in the voters lists and must go on the day of elections to vote for his party.
i feel and expect that the peoples zardari thug group will play all the tricks to delay in getting these voters list till the last moment and then will make excuses specially in sind and punjab rural areas. PTI must be vey watchful and vigilant on this matter and keep on reminding chief justice to get the authenticated voters lists ready way before the elections.
people are fed up of the two parties and want to see the change and get the new and true democracy in the country. At the same time, not to allow zardari thug, gilani crook and their rubbish and useless group to become "siasi shaheed".

Four of your strongest anti-Imran comments here:
1. He did not say anything against MQM
2. He did not mention about the Kashmir issue.
3. He gets more media coverage than others.
4. He is supported by the Establishment.
How come you have kept silent for 4 years and never asked your party, PPP or PML, the MQM related question? Every time MQM leaves the coalition government, Rehman Malik rushes to 9zero in Karachi or to Altaf Hussain in London to woo them back. Last time Chaudhry Nisar and other PML-N’s leaders too extended their hands in co-operation to MQM in a bid against Zardari. So it must be fair for both these parties to embrace MQM at the first chance available?
Imran would be unwise to pick up one more fight so early in the Political Royal Rumble. No doubt MQM could have disrupted his Karachi rally had they wanted to but Altaf Hussain had said a few days back that it did not matter if the middle class got together under MQM flag or PTI flag. He must have sensed what was coming and, as usual, played safe. Imran never asked him to say that or even himself equated PTI with MQM.
There are many other things, nationally and internationally, that Imran did not say for now, including Kashmir. This is not his last pre-election rally, it is just the beginning. He has more than one year to mention whatever he feels need to be mentioned and Kashmir definitely is an issue no politician can or should avoid, if he wants to remain credible in Pakistani politics.
Also some people object to the media giving more coverage to PTI than other parties. First the PPP-coalition and PML-N have been in the news for the last 4 years or more. How much more can the people watch the miserable failures or self-conflicting statements of these clowns? Even the best of movies run out of steam after a few weeks. Don’t blame the media or the Establishment if the new super-hit production in town not only has mega stars but the general public too is part of the caste. The media houses will run out of business if they insist on showing what the public in not interested to see.
The Establishment too has one hand on the nation’s pulse but their other hand, unlike the media’s, is firmly on the serving politician’s necks. Thanks to the media, gone are the days when the Establishment could force their decisions on the masses. These eternal god-fathers, realizing that the nation is looking forward to a change, find it easier to yield to the public’s choice of leadership. It so happens that the current rulers have screwed up so bad that Imran Khan, who was not part of that setup, is the default choice for everyone. This is the most unflattering thing you can say about him if you are bent upon disregarding all his capabilities as a leader and an achiever.

I would call it a big achievement if we can put a stop to the current corruption alone, though the accountability would be a welcome second achievement
